Hello my sweeties,
Hello my sweeties,
I'm still owe to
you to do the post about one of Jamie Oliver's restaurants and now that fits
better than ever.
Well, two or three days after we had this fantastic dinner at the Fifteen, we wanted more and went our way to another restaurant. It is called 'Jamie's Italian' and serves - like the name already reveals - Italian delicacies. There's already a real chain of restaurants, I think there are at least three in London. The restaurants are all well-constructed: outside you can find some pots with several herbs and inside the first thing you see is a small corner with souvenirs. If you continue your way you pass some worktops where pasta and bread are made. It smells fantastic everywhere. And they don’t need any decoration because everything is full of herbs and ham. Some salt and pepper mills are put on the tables. I’m already fascinated before reading the menu ;) This contains no bric-a-brac, only typical dishes that are always welcome. Even penne with tomato sauce is a gourmet dish in this restaurant. Everything tastes perfect and the waiters are also very friendly. If you’re around an Italian you should have a meal there. The prices are ok, as well. I think under the average for London’s situation..

The real highlight
was waiting outside: an ice cream van. In the past a VW bus that was rebuilt to
a retro ice cream cart touring through London. The different types of ice cream
are extraordinary but also extraordinary yummy. Hmmm.
Who isn’t fed up
with Italian stuff should visit my blog again next week and watch the ZDF
Fernsehgarten tomorrow (26th May) at 11 am! Trust
me.
Well and good luck
to the BVB! Although they don't need any luck because they're also outclass
without that :)
