My First Band

Hello my dears,
Do you also wonder what all the Radio stations played before there was Lifesaver of Sunrise Avenue? I really love listening to the Finns but after the 12th time a day it's enough.. Nevertheless I have to think every time on the concert in Munich. I'm sooo happy :) The last weeks I was very excited who'd be the next member of the 'supporting act group' after The Pusher and Superscar. Then the facilitating news that My First Band will be the supporting act came. I really love their sound although I was a bit shocked about the song title 'Baby you're too Young [I wanna make love to your mama]'. Pretty provocative but I'm very excited. Until now they're my favourite of all supporting acts.
When I was at the Champions League finale two years ago, Heikki has already been there as Sunrise Ave's keyboarder. At first I thought he's Riku's brother, they really look a bit similar ;)
Who'll be in Munich, too?

Christmas story

Hello my dears,
Instead of the usual Advent calendar you'll get today a film tipp for the best time of the year. It's called 'Christmas story' and it's from Finland. That was honestly the main reason for me to buy it..
Meanwhile I'm so happy that I've bought it, I watched it twice this week and my mum even wanted to watch it again the day before yesterday.
All is a about Nikolas, a little boy who becomes an orphan because of a terrible accident. The village that the boy lives at is pretty poor that's why no family can care about him forever. They decide to let him live with each family for one year and every Christmas he has to change the family.
He takes this day to give little presents to the children of his bygone families, also he brings a present to his sister Ada who died in the accident as well.
After it was each family's turn, there's no one left to take him beside the dark carpenter Iisakki. Nikolas has to work hard there but on Christmas Eve he gets to know Iisakki's story, followed they become friends.
I don't wanna tell you more about it but I really can recommend you this film. It's a mix of dark Finnish mood, hope and tension. I love it.
Have a great day, maybe I'll post another calendar stuff today ;)

Little bit love

Hello my cuties,
Today I wanna present you a song of Sunrise Avenue’s new album Unholy Ground. I was a bit afraid before listening to it the first time. If you like a band or anything else that much, you have exact imaginations and extreme high demands to everything new. I couldn’t believe that Sunrise Avenue could better the last albums and so I put the CD with mixed feelings in the player.

I’ve already listened to Livesafer, Unholy Ground and Afraid of the midnight before the album release, what made me a bit calm. I really had to cry because I liked all the songs so much. Somehow they weren’t new, they were part of the ‚Sunrise Ave familiy‘.

I decided to present you song number 03: Little bit love. At the beginning Samu's voice sounds very soft and calm. He counts a few things he doesn't need like 'a crown on his head', he just needs a little bit love. Samu again made it to twist me around his finger during the first lines..

If I close my eyes, I can imgaine Samu performing this song on stage. He's there, looking with that kind of sad view, and Riku is in his own small world. Sometimes you can watch Riku being into the song and not in this world right now. At the point ‚And it makes me crazy, how I need you baby, no I can’t escape it, ‘cause I just need a little bit love.’ I think they just start jumping around again and I worry that they will fall down some day.. I love this point in the song, Samu's voice sound a bit rough and more demanding now. Well, that's it, when somebody makes you crazy..

But now enough read, I don't wanna tell you everything. Just listen to it :)

Four months :)

[27.10.2013]
Hello my dears

In four months it's time for Sunrise Avenue in Munich! I can’t await it. I hope there’ll be no test this day and I really have no idea what to do if there’s one.. Who of you’ll be there as well? Have you already bought tickets?

I watched 'The voice of whatever' the last days and I have to say, I can’t stand this show. I just watch it because of Samu Haber but otherwise it annoys me. Well, the guy opening the door is pretty great, honestly! The show’s basics are not bad but let’s be honest: Only a few great singers have a chance on the music market when being not that handsome. That’s sad of course, but that’s life. The whole package has to be suitable. You have to like the person on TV. That’s why I haven’t heard Sunrise Ave for such a long time, there wasn’t a connection. Not it is fortunately.

By the way: Last week the new Sunrise Ave album  'Unholy Ground' was released, the first one I witnessed really. I mean the waiting time and all news concerning new music stuff. Because I wanted to get it on time, I ordered it directly in Finland. What should I say, it was too late. Two days I ago I listened the first time to the new songs. I cried all the time. I like all albums but Unholy Ground is the best one! The songs are so dreamlike. The go from your ear to your heart in one second. Great fun when listening to it! Maybe I’ll present you some songs the next days :)

Oh my friend, you're holding out your hand

[03.10.2013]
Hey you,
Today it’s public holiday in Germany so I have enough time for chilling although I should going on writing my term paper and finish my best friend’s birthday present. I’d really like to show you my idea after her birthday (if she liked it).
Today I’ll write about something I wanted to do already last week :) I’m so excited about tomorrow when Sunrise Avenue’s new single ‚Livesafer‘ will be published. After listening to it the first time I didn’t like it very much because it wasn’t Sunrise Avenue way but after the third time I loved it because it is Sunrise Avenue way! Now it’s already one of my favourite songs, the lyrics are so pretty. What I like most is the part when all sing and then Samu starts sining alone again. I love listening to Riku’s voice it’s kind of soft and anodyne but powerful at the same time. The only thing I pity is the fact that Sami isn’t so present. At one part I think: Yeah, now it’s Sami’s turn, he’ll drum the way you won’t hear anymore. But - silence.  I love it nevertheless and you can watch the whole video here:
If you think it isn’t worth buying just one single you can order the new album ‚Unholy ground‘ as well, it’ll be released in two weeks. At Sunrise Avenue’s homepage you can apparently hear some parts of the album but I prefer waiting for the whole artwork. I’m sure it’ll be at least as good as Out of style.
Oh, another thing. Guess who’ll do everything to be in the first row the 25th February? And I’d also liked to get any souvenirs but can it be better than a bottle from Samu, a plec and a towel from Riku and autographs from the supporting act.. Well it would be the time for a picture with the handsome guys!
Have a great day and order some tickets! Maybe we’ll meet each other in five month :)

Yellow power

[15.09.2013]
Today half of the month is already over and that’s why you’ll read the post of the colour of the month now. To counter the gray sky I chose yellow today.
Although I prefer green plants my parents love a big garden with colourful flowers and so the sunflowers shine on me when I look out of the window. Well, not now because the only shining thing is the moon and that’s exactly what I hate in autumn: it’s dark at 9 o’clock.
With sunflower I gave my grandmas a big smile by the way:
Because we live so far away from them I send them sunflower seeds and a nice suitable poem instead of real flowers. A few months later my grandma showed me very proudly a 3m sunflower I gave her :)

What do you say about this nice yellow piece of plastic? After Rikus towel the best souvenir of the concert in March. It has a special place in my room and I needed a three month to find the right frame in half Germany. Thanks Pforzheim for the perfect one ;)

Next picture shows my favourite bonbons ‚Lemon Ginger‘ they are just yummy. Although I should be for all colourful bonbons I prfer the yellow ones.

And what would yellow be without my favourite series of America: the Simpsons.
Because it’s so hard for me to choose my preferred character you get the full yellow charge:

Grandpa’s hobby

[12.09.2013]
Hello my dears,
Grandpa’s hobby is probably the wrong title for this post because even my grandpa doesn’t something that ‘boring’.
Probably no one of you can guess that I collect stamps. It started last Christmas when I wanted to buy a Finnish book on ebay. I didn’t get it but the next hit were 30 wonderful stamps with the mark ‚Suomi‘.
You have to know that I love taking part at auctions till 1 or 2€ that doesn’t interest me at all and in 80% of cases I don’t get the things because someone gives 50ct more. But not with theses stamps. On Christmas most people aren’t interested in Finnish stamps, I think. One week later I had an envelope with the stamps in my hands and I didn’t want to open it because I thought my mother would laugh at me. Somehow the colourful papers fascinated me and so I purchased by auctions about 20 other packages. Always I had a bank transfer of 1,55€ - 2€ my mum asked ‚Are these stamps?’, and yeah, they were.
At the first view this hobby might really look a bit bleak but if you specialize yourself for one country, it could become interesting and sometimes I stop breathing when I find a treasure of 1910 in my collection. I really like purchasing a collection without knowing what’s in it and at home they get graded and if it’s necessary free of glue and paper stuff.
Since this random buying I recognized what little artworks stamps are. They have beautiful colours and motives from all different sections of the Finnish culture. But the best thing ist he story behind each.
This letter for example was send in December 1938 in Helsinki. What said it? Was it a love letter that brought two people together? Was the stamp on a birthday greeting, a grandma sent to her grandchild? Or was it a letter with bad news, maybe some contained forebodings of the war? Because of the value and date you can guess a lot of things but this kind of uncertainty makes it so fascinating for me.
No matter how old-fashioned this hobby might be, I love it. So I always have a tiny part of Finland with me and let my imagination run free.

Pink Lady

[18.08.2013]
Hello :)

Finally I had some time in this whole posting chaos to write my post about the colour of the month. This time the decision was pretty easy because I’ll go to a wedding in two weeks where I’ll wear my ball dress. Because I’m nervous about this the whole August ‘pink’ became my colour this month. Well, now I just have to look for other photos in this colour..

when I was looking for the ‚manly‘ colours blue and green, I forgot how many things in my room are beautiful pink.
Pretty strange is maybe this picture of Dr. Haber at the Out of style tour last year in Nuremberg when he shone in powerful pink. In such a moment my heart beats faster because of two reasons ;)

A bit tenderer than Samu, a rose of my grandma’s garden that reminds me of the great times there. Oh no, I already get doleful, so I’ll better go on with the next photo.

These two monkeys are cute, aren’t they? I like monkeys very much and when I saw these hooks I had to buy them immediately. The pink anything on the left is by the way a beret, I bought as a souvenir last year in Paris. I wear them very often in winter although I don’t like caps very much.

Last but not least my dress for the school leavers’ ball. I got a lot of compliments, not just for the dress but also for the courage of wearing such a colour instead of the classic ones like dark blue or dark red. I loved my dress and I’m so happy about the wedding in two weeks when my ball dress is allowed to leave the cupboard!

Green, green, green :)

[15.06.2013]
To revisit the word of May 'nature', I chose green as the colour that will accompany us during the next four weeks. And well, it's beautifuk to finally see anything green outside, after everything was just gray.
The picture (1) shows you my new door plate. I'm very happy about the great outcome, I let fabricate the plate only for me ;) It wasn't very cheap with its 17€ price but I think it is worth! A wonderful souvenir of our finnish boys, which you can hang up without seeming to be tennielike.

Photo (2) shows to different nail polish, I really like to use. I prefer painting my finger nails with the dark one but then the foot nails get light green. I bought the light one at Claire's, it is very flowing but its colour excuses everything. And the dark one is of the brand Kiko, the nail polish paradise :)

On picture (3) you can see a lady's mantle in my neighbour's garden. Well, I probably don't have to explain more about it, just a wonderful photo. You can see how uncomplicated but beautifuk the nature is.

Photo (4) wasn't easy to take because I just have two green things in my armoire, although the colour suits everybody I think. With brown hair & something green you get somehow a kind of brightness and blonds spark with it. I bought the oversized blouse at C&A this year, if your body isn't in summer feeling yet, a oversized thing is fantastic ;)

Big Band Theory Tour/Fürth

[29.03.2013]
Since the end of October you regularly heard how much I was looking forward to the Big Band Theory Tour of Sunrise Avenue and last I finally went there. Previously I informed me exactly about everything for example where the toilets are (sounds stupid but is one of the most important things) or if I'm allowed to take my reflex camera with me. If not I wanted to avoid discussing at the entry. It was my luck that I asked, it was just allowed with a press card. That's enough babbled. Not it staaaarts:
Puh, that was a day. I've already posted on the Sunrise Avenue Facebook page that I can't find any words for all that happened on Tuesday. Really, words can't describe this. Like Samu sings: 'And I don't know the right words I should say, never felt anything this way..' It's impossible to couch this but I try it nevertheless.
My mom and I depatured at about nine o'clock and arrived in Fürth at 10:30. Just as we drive to the 'Stadthalle' (guildhall), I see to buses with toned windows and what should I say, yes, they were it. Because it is definitely too long for us, to wait there from 10:30 till 19:00 we just walked around the town a bit and are back at 12:30. The tour buses are directly next to us and so we have the chance to risk a look at Samu or my darling Riku. Sometime Samu comes out of the bus with a crate of coke in his hands. I'm thinking: 'Er, what's he doing with this right now?!' And a few seconds later, Mr. Samu Haber is straight in front of us and asks if we are thirsty. Yeah, we are thirsty and even if not, who wouldn't take something to drink if Samu Haber himself gives it to you? No matter, how bad the concert will be, it's already a perfect day.
When I'll go to our car later, Riku will wave out of the taxi. Shit :/ A short time before seven o'clock we are allowed to go into the hall. I'm running as fast as I can, just to get the best place in front of Riku. No sooner said than done. My place is safe. Now my mom comes. But what's better to gild the waiting time than doing a bit of shopping? Thus I look around a bit in the building. I'm not thirsty anymore but the bar catches my eye at once: 'Can I get the can without substance please?!' Yes. I could as you can see:

After this I look at the merchandise stuff and decide to buy a button and plec set, after this I go back to my place. Now I can't wait listening to the supporting act. Announced are four Finnish guys, who are called Superscar. I listened to a song of them on youtube and I wasn't so fascinated of them. But when the guys arrive on stage, I have to grin. The guitarist straight in front of me looks like a small puppy, I'd really like to hug him and canoodle with him. Because he looks a bit grimly I smile at him and then, I finally get a smile back. Somehow he watches at me all the time. Ok, I have to look the other way. Oh no, he still looks at me, I think I blush. The whole half an hour I get maternal feelings because the guys are so cute. Still so young (probably ten years older than myself, but that doesn't matter :D) and still so nervous. A few minutes before they finished the other guitarist comes to our side and wants to give a high five to us but the arms are too short. Haha, I have to laugh. After about 30 minutes the band disappears but then they come back to abolish their equipment.  That’s so likeably, somehow I’m taken aback by them :).
A coke from Samu, a super cute supporting act. Slowly my expectance is rising into the boundless.
At 9 o’clock sharp it starts. The light turns off. Sirens turn on. Riku is at the stage. He stands exactly  in front of me. The begin playing.
I gotta go is not one of my fav songs but anyway it packs a wallop. My face hurts because of smiling so much but I can’t stop. I’ve a goose flesh but in the same moment I’m so hot and probably that’s not just because of my pullover.. I wonder how you can play the guitar in that way and look so handsome at once, like Riku does ;) Every song beats the previous one. I can’t believe being part of this. Ok, slowly Riku annoys me. He notices that I look at him all the time, that I’m so happy but he doesn’t make it to give me just a second of his attention. Ok, doesn’t matter because two oft he ‚Big Band guys‘ smile at me all the time.
I love the break between two songs when Samu is telling something. I love his voice. I love his humor and I must laugh because of every little joke he’s telling. I hear that the boys start to play Happiness one of my favorite songs. This evening is perfect.   Shortly after this song, Samu speaks about football in Finland. Couldn’t be better. They play 6-0 and yes, it’s always a pleasure to see how Samu shows the lyrics visually. Especially here: I will love you, I will hold you, satisfy you, you'll never wanna let me go But seriously, that would lack. Two or three songs later, they play Hollywood Hills and I don’t feel well now. The song is full of memories and I start crying. But because I get some pitying looks from the wind instruments and so I continue feeling fantastic and also free. I can forget this story, it’s better to forget it. When we come tot he last song (Nasty) it gets a bit ‚schmudsig‘ (filthy). As Mr. Haber says, you should keep shut all ‚ears and eyes‘ of all children, pets ‚or whatever‘ and points at his eyes and then his ears. This little blooper makes the evening even better. I’m overhelmed by this band, it was a super evening but I’m still a bit disappointed because of Riku. After the ‚schmudsigen‘ (dirty) song it gets really dirty and Riku dries his whole head with the towel, I pointed a few seconds before. I can’t believe what’s happening now. Riku knees in front of me, smiles and puts the towel straighht into my hands. I knew it. He smile and I have to smile even more. He throws a plec to the first row, everybody next to me are looking for it but for me it doesn’t matter. After all,  I got the towel of Riku Rajamaa (he’s also the only one who gives it to somebody in the crowd). It doesn’t smell like flowers, more like a dose of sweat and a bottle of beer, they drank next to the stage. While the others are searching the plec, I put on a pout, that achieves ist duty wholeheartedly. With another smile, Riku chucks a plec to me. Wow, I love him. I didn’t expect that at all. This naughty boy noticed it very well that I looked at him, and not like the drooling ladies advanced in age, at Samu. Any time, Riku goes and we go, too. It was the second best evening of my life. Outside the room, Superscar wait and I make them signing my flag. Now they’re more relaxed and in a very great mood. The guitarist makes a joke because of my flag, but it fails a bit. The drummer just says: ‚Oh, that was a bad joke!‘ I say thank you and we go home. I don’t have to mention that I didn’t sleep a wink the next four nights.. I take along so many things of this concert. A coke from Samu, a towel and a plec from Riku, an autograph from Superscar, two cans, two buttons and three bought plecs, hundreds of photos, a cozy little chat with Superscar, 10000 of memories and not at least a friendly acquaintance, we’ll surely meet at the next concert.

P.S.: It took such a long time to finish this post because I personally had to cool down first. There were too many impressions at once for my little mind. And to be honest: I realize all details only now.
P.P.S.: The towel is (of course not washed) well secured now and fortunately it doens't smell anymore.

Aland Islands

[09.02.2013, 21:06]
Wow, it was a perfect start into the holidays on Friday evening! For some weeks now, I search for some news about my fav footballer, Pekka Lagerblom, on the Internet and just this Friday I read the shattering news. He had training at the IFK Mariehamn on the Aland Islands. He returns to Finland :/ My heart is broken. After months of hope, he finds a job in Germany, the illusion is destroyed. And a big ‘Thank you’ to RB Leipzig. It was clear, we could visit a match this year and that wouldn’t be a problem because his contract was for two years but then you let him go. Well done! I had the honor to meet Pekka three times and I have to say, he’s not only the best footballer, I’ve ever seen. He’s also an unbelievably charming, friendly and funny guy. Pekka, if you read this: thank you for the fantastic meetings.

But who emigrates with me to the Aland Islands now? Best would be tomorrow or even today.
But at least I have a new reason to learn Finnish, although the speak only Swedish there, I think. But I have to go there!
There’s one good thing: the new tricots’
colour matchs perfectly with his eyes ;)
