That's what a winner looks like

Hello my dears,
What important news reached us last week? I heard about Thomas Hitzlsperger's coming out on Wednesday and since then hundreds of thoughts run through my mind.
Surely it wasn't easy to do this step and that's why Mr. Hitzlsperger should gain our all respect! I can't imagine how terrible it is to hide from publicity and to live a different life although you look pretty contrary inside. I was really shocked when I read about the French player who had to leave his team because of his homosexuality a few months ago. Why makes it a difference whether we love men or women? And by the way why does it bother others? If people do a great job and don't bully others it doesn't matter what sexuality they have, I think.
I just can salute Thomas Hitzlsperger, he was a fantastic footballer and now he has an enormous influence in German football. I'm pretty sure that now more and more gay players will be brave enough to talk about this topic. And because football is already topic number one for little boys, it's great to show them, it doesn't matter who you are or who you love. It's just important how talented you are!
I wish Mr. Hitzlsperger a lot of power during the next weeks and I hope that he and his aim will find tolerance everywhere.
Enjoy your life and don't hide because of trifles!

The search of a sense..

[23.10.2013]

Hello my cute readers,

You might know that I'm a big footballfan but last week something stupid happened.
Despite the bad weather I was of course at the derby SC Bonbonhausen - FC Schokolade last week. I was so happy that my favourite player, let's call him praline, made it from the second team to the first again and so I thought the day could just be great. The SC Bonbonhausen even had a few chances and -believe me- that's very very very rare. And also praline showed his best tricks, well at least till the beginnng of the second half-time. Then something happened I don't wanna see again. Praline did a perfect job for another player but somebody fouled him although the ball was already somewhere else. Praline fell on the ground and shouted as loud as I've never heard a shout before.

Do you know these moments when watching football and your heart stops beating? It's not amazing that the risk for a heart attack is much higher than usual, when watching football..

Well, after a few minutes praline stood up, brushed a tear away and looked at me with a face contorted with pain. Well. How do you look at such a moment and what do you say? Do you say anything?

The next day football was on TV and I had to think at praline. 20 men running after a ball and two who want to repel it. Is there anything more useless in this world? I'm sure most of the men wouldn't run after the woman of their dream for 90 minutes..
And why do you take this high risk of injuries? I don't wanna know which colour's you could have seen at praline's thigh.

I have no idea what's football's magic. I don't know why nearly everybody is banned of football and I don't know why I'm already looking forward to the next KSC match.
And by the way boys, I wanna see three points!

Three minutes with Sebastian Schiek

[11.09.2013]
With a lot of heart beating I opened yesterday the new category ‚Interviews‘. After the talk with Vito Lavita I tasted blood and in the hope of many more interviews, there’s this category now.
You might know that the interview with Vito was really relaxed because it was a phone call without any eye contact but with a crib with questions for me.
This Saturday one week ago, I had the possibility to visit the KSC’s [Karlsruher sport club, football team of Germany’s second division] and wasn’t there without any agenda of course. My team poster would like to get filled with all autographs and besides I wanted an interview with one of my favourites. Prior to the training I chose a few players with my best friend for the talk but to be honest: it hasn’t mattered.
The training was very great. A match KSC - KSC and because the wild boys [their stadium is called Wildpark] had to win, everything was perfect. After the personal greeting with a friendly ‘Hallo’ and the nicest Hollywood smile of Daniel Gordon I was, well, kind of out of it.

When the training was nearly over we went to the exit to get a lot of signatures and to find an interview partner.
At the first question ‘Do you have any time for making an interview?’ everything was okay but this was finally the only questions of about 20, I remembered. Sorry for the not that perfect questions, I was damn nervous.
The next one will be better!
My chosen one was Sebastian Schiek, 23 years old and since 2009 defender at the KSC. Jahre alt und seit 2009 Abwehrspieler beim KSC. [As of the 31st August 2013]

Buntes Bonbon: Hello Sebastian, nice that you have time for me. I’d like
to know how long you play football.
Sebastian Schiek: I think since 1995, so, since I’m five years old.

BB: Did your parents agree when you decided to become a professional
footballer or wanted they you to have another job?
Sebastian: Yes, they did agree but the immediately said, I should attend
school and pass my A-Levels. They really supported me on this
way and took me for example to the training, we had a lot of
training lessons in the youth and helped me a lot. But - as I’ve
already told you - suggested me tot o my A-Levels.

BB: You were injured last year. Does an injury changes the own style of
playing so that you become more carefully for example or isn’t this
     the case?
Sebastian: Well, I think this is a mental thing and depends on, how your
body reacts during the first weeks or months in tricky situations
but it gradually comes back that you take on a challenge.

BB: Are you content to be sixth?
Sebastian: Yes, we are content but we also know that we could be second
if we dealt better with our leads but fundamental we are pleased.

BB: And do you think you have a chance against Aalen tomorrow?
Sebastian: Yes of course, I think we wouldn’t need to play without this
              attitude.

BB: Yeah, you’re right. Now something different: Against which team
would you like to play one day?
Sebastian: Preferably against Manchester United.

BB: So, that’s it. Thanks for your answers and good luck tomorrow, bye!
Sebastian: Thanks. No problem, bye.

As a small surprise I got this picture for you! [Buntes Bonbon is looking for a great season with the KSC]

Wildpark and back again

[11.08.2013]
Hardly another match of the 1. Round of the ‚DFB-Pokal‘ made the headlines like the duel FC Nöttingen 1957 [fifth league] - FC Schalke 04 in the Wildparkstadion of Karlsruhe.
Because we had some kind of vacation at our relatives in Baden-Württemberg, I had the chance to see the match live with my cousin and uncle. It was the first time I was at the ‘Wildparkstadion‘ and although the KSC didn’t play it was worth. Actually I thought - like probably everybody - Schalke would dominate the whole match but they inferior to the Nöttinger boys. I expected much more of a club with several internationals and Schalke probably as well, because when they noticed their chanceless times they started to foul. [I’m sure I don’t have to mention Julian Draxler’s eppy.] It’s a pity Nöttingen didn’t win but I wish them a successful season and good luck for the ‘DFB-Pokal’ next year!
On Wednesday finally my new pink chucks, the lilacs‘ replacement [http://buntes-bonbon.blogspot.de/2013/04/the-end-of-era.html] were inaugurate for the trip to the KSC’s fan shop. After wearing them less than an hour, I already had the first event for my ‚Great-things-experienced-with-these-shoes-list‘. Well, the visit at the shop was pretty nice, but more surprising was that Jesper Brechtel [new player of the KSC & Finn] just drove next to us :)
Well, now to the real post for today. Guess who was at the 2:0 win of the KSC yesterday..
The beginning of my day yesterday was too early at 6:50 and after a short time we immediately went to the train station towards Ingolstadt. After three pretty boring hours in the train we finally went 1 ½ hours before the match began to the stadium by bus, to be there one time and not too late like the other times. Arrived at the Audi Sportpark we shortly detected the team bus of Karlsruhe because we liked waiting there for a few players after the match. The tickets were pretty expensive in my opinion but it’s just a few times during a year you attend a football match like this. While the KSC boys were at the pitch to limber up I recognized these rough ‘disciplinary measure’.

The five guys were in a circle and kicked the ball over to each other. If one of them took the ball with his hands he got a few earsnappings. Ouch. The first halftime had a few exciting incidents but the 0:0 hasn’t changed for a longer time. Anytime Ingolstadt had a big chance and Orlishausen [keeper of the KSC] put the ball behind the line on his own but - why ever - the goal was void. It got really exciting in the 60th minute when Ilian Micanski made the first goal. My mom’s eyes weren’t at the pitch this time and she only recognized the goal because I was cheering up. Now she wanted to see a goal and Selcuk Alibaz did it for her just four minutes after the first goal.

The new players are very good for the club and everyone did very well.

Ingolstadt could have the energy to play better but I think it’s very unfair their own fans booed and hissed. Either I stand by my club also in bad days or I’m no real fan!
Well, after the match we waited a few minutes at the bus and Jan Mauersberger came really soon to sign my team poster and as well gave me an autograph. Most of players even stopped phoning to be there for their fans, very friendly! A big thanks to Jens Todt, Markus Kauczinski, Jan Mauersberger, Selcuk Alibaz, René Vollath, Philipp Klingmann, Daniel Gordon, Dominic Peitz, Michael Vitzthum, Mirko Schuster, Gaétan Krebs, Silvano Varnhagen and Koen van der Biezen for the autographs and photos! I missed a few players but I hope I’ll meet them on the next match in Bavaria :)

PS.: If you watch a KSC match one day you have to scan number 8, Reinhold Yabo. One of KSC’s best players, I’m sure we’ll hear about him very much!

Foooootballday

[07.04.2013]
Day six of the birthday week and finally we come to a topic that makes my heart beating faster: football. Though I’m a girl, I really love football. Today it’s the second day of a perfect football weekend. Yesterday I was in Unterhaching (near Munich) with my parents to watch the match against the KSC (sports club of Karlsruhe). I’ve been to Unterhaching to years ago and it was super great. The stadion is nice and all people very friendly, even if you cheer up for the guests.. And today it’s the first match, of the football team in our town, after the winter break. I like it. I thought about a lot of things we could do yesterday and I’ve also contacted the KSC to get an Interview with a player or something else for my birthday week.
Because I haven’t gotten an answer of the KSC, I wrote - shame on me - an email to the opponent Unterhaching if I can get a short interview or anything else. That unfortunately didn’t work but on Thursday evening I got an auspicious answer of the press officer of the KSC. But I’ll tell you later more about it.
I’d prefer not to write about the match. The series is over. We were unbeaten for 20 matches and then this thing.. In the 5th minute, a Haching player makes a goal. Half of the stadium cheers up, I want to cry. I haven’t bargained for a goal against so early.. But now the KSC fans start their program. You don’t get that there are two teams, you just hear the KSC boys and girls. The fan chants are so sweeping that two children, a few orders behind me, start dancing. Their dad just says: ‘Sit down! This ist he wrong team!‘ Haha.
While the match was going on, you could see that the referee was very impartial (attention: irony). Haching fouls somebody and the KSC gets the yellow card for it. That’s the fact during the whole match and our lovely Jonas Hummels, Mats‘ brother) is everytime involved in committing a foul. But to be fair, you have to say that he’s a very good player as well. When the KSC has failed at making any goals, the fans around me start freaking out. In the 87th minute there’s another nice foul of Unterhaching, everybody’s sure they must get a yellow card for that. But what’s that? Seconds after the foul the get their second goal. The first fans of the KSC leave the stadium angry. But Haching didn’t count with our ‚wild boys‘ and after a great final spurt they attain the 2:1.
Unfortunately it was a defeat but also a very exciting and sophisticated match. I was very impressed by Koen van der Biezen, he’s a brilliant player!
well, after the match I should meet the press officer but where? I wrote that I’ll be at the bus after the match. Because he hasn’t answered me, I waited there. The security of course didn’t let us entry the area and so we had to wait before the gate. We said them often enough that we have to get inside and why but they wanted to tell us when somebody arrived. Three other fans waited with us there. Making them happy shouldn’t be a problem, should it? Well, it should. Finally I just got five signatures on my poster. More players didn’t come outside and I wasn’t allowed to go in, despite a promise. The first player who came outside, Rouwen Hennings, was very cute. After signing my poster he asked if he gets some ‘bunte Bonbons’ (candies) now and because he asked in a so friendly way, he of course got some. And Jan Mauersberger was very friendly as well. I took a photo with him but after looking at him, he was a bad choice. Although I were on tiptoes, he was about half a meter taller than I ;) But doesn’t matter in the end, very handsome guy :D
Anytime they made me go to the press entry but of course, nobody was there. I’m a bit disappointed now.. A big thanks to Rouwen Hennings, Jan Mauersberger, Simon Brandstetter, Martin Stoll and a fifth player, I can’t remember. What a shame!
But I’m sure I’ll get the other autographs or an interview somehow else.
But attention please for the secret highlight after the defeat. If I don’t err, I saw Anton Algrang, an actor of a German soap for children (Schloss Einstein), at the train station. How dope is that?! Schloss Einstein was my favourite TV series when I was a child.
PS.: We were also on TV on Saturday. After the match I got three pics from my aunt of us in the stadium. And when we were in a small café after the match, we could survey ourselves in German news as well.

Aland Islands

[09.02.2013, 21:06]
Wow, it was a perfect start into the holidays on Friday evening! For some weeks now, I search for some news about my fav footballer, Pekka Lagerblom, on the Internet and just this Friday I read the shattering news. He had training at the IFK Mariehamn on the Aland Islands. He returns to Finland :/ My heart is broken. After months of hope, he finds a job in Germany, the illusion is destroyed. And a big ‘Thank you’ to RB Leipzig. It was clear, we could visit a match this year and that wouldn’t be a problem because his contract was for two years but then you let him go. Well done! I had the honor to meet Pekka three times and I have to say, he’s not only the best footballer, I’ve ever seen. He’s also an unbelievably charming, friendly and funny guy. Pekka, if you read this: thank you for the fantastic meetings.

But who emigrates with me to the Aland Islands now? Best would be tomorrow or even today.
But at least I have a new reason to learn Finnish, although the speak only Swedish there, I think. But I have to go there!
There’s one good thing: the new tricots’
colour matchs perfectly with his eyes ;)
